Greek Salad - This is a traditional recipe for "Horiatiki Salad" (in Greek).
- 4 pieces of tomato (ripe)
- 1 piece of red onion
- 1 piece of cucumber
- 1 piece green pepper (babura, sweet)
- 150 g feta cheese (Greek)
- 10 olives (Greek)
- oregano (dried)
- salt (sea)
- olive oil (extra virgin, Greek)
- red wine vinegar
- Wash and chop the vegetables. Add sliced tomato, red onion, cucumber, and green pepper to the salad bowl. Sprinkle with some oregano. Add a little quality extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar. Stir.
- Put feta cheese over the vegetables. It can be sliced, or crushed by hand. Pour a little olive oil over the cheese and sprinkle with some oregano. Serve with rustic homemade bread with a dark crust.
