Bread with pumpkin.

Bread with pumpkin, ingredients:

  • 700 g of flour,
  • 400 g pumpkin puree,
  • 200 ml of lukewarm milk,
  • 42 g of fresh yeast,
  • 1 egg plus one egg yolk for coating,
  • 2 teaspoons of salt,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar and
  • 100 g of margarine.

Bread with pumpkin, preparation:

  • Bake the pumpkin in the oven, let it cool and mash it.
  • Crumble the yeast into the warm milk, add sugar and a spoonful of flour, and let it rise.
  • Put half of the required amount of flour in a mixing bowl, add the yeast, pumpkin puree, egg and salt. Knead a softer, smoother dough by gradually adding the remaining amount of flour. Leave the dough to rise in a warm place.
  • Knead the dough, cover the pan with baking paper and put the dough.
  • Coat the dough with egg yolk, you may or may not. Let it rest for about thirty minutes.
  • Heat the oven to 200 degrees and put the bread to bake. The baking time of the bread depends on the oven. Use a wooden stick to check whether the bread is cooked. If the dough does not stick to the stick, the bread is baked.
