Bread with pumpkin.
Pumpkin Bread Pumpkin Dough Ingredients:
- 200 g of flour,
- 125 g pumpkin puree,
- half a teaspoon of sugar,
- 1 egg,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- half a bag of dry yeast (5g)
- 50 g of melted and cooled margarine.
Bread with pumpkin, ingredients for plain dough:
- 250 g of flour,
- 5 g dry yeast,
- half a teaspoon of sugar,
- a teaspoon of salt,
- 1 egg,
- 50 g of melted and cooled margarine and
- lukewarm water as needed.
To coat:
- 1 egg.
Bread with pumpkin, preparation:
- First, knead the dough with the pumpkin.
- Put pumpkin puree in a bowl, then add sugar, salt, margarine, egg, yeast, and mix everything well. If the dough is too soft, add more flour, I added more flour. The amount of flour depends on the moisture content of the pumpkin puree.
- Cover with transparent foil and let the dough rise.
- Do the same with the regular dough and let it rise.
- Put flour, sugar, salt, egg, yeast, margarine in a mixing bowl, then add lukewarm water and mix everything well.
- Cover with cling film and leave to rise.
- First, roll out the dough with the pumpkin into a rectangle (flour the work surface, otherwise the dough will stick), about half a cm thick, then roll out the regular dough.
- Brush the pumpkin dough with water and fold it over the melted plain dough. Roll up.
- Cover the mold with baking paper, transfer the dough and leave it to rise for about half an hour.
- Coat the risen dough with beaten egg to which you have added a little water, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for about 35 minutes.
- The length of baking depends on the stove. Use a wooden stick to check if the dough is baked, if it doesn't stick to the stick, it's baked.
