Bread.
Bread, ingredients:
- 500 g of wholemeal flour,
- 300 g plain flour,
- a bag of dry yeast,
- 600-700 ml of lukewarm water,
- two level teaspoons of salt and
- 2 tablespoons of oil.
Bread, preparation:
- In a large bowl, add dry yeast, flour, lukewarm water, salt and oil, then knead a smooth dough. If necessary, add a little flour while kneading.
- Place the dough in a bowl, which you previously coated with oil, cover with a cloth and let it rest for about an hour, until it doubles in size.
- Transfer the risen dough to a floured surface, then knead it again and finally place it in an oiled pan, then leave the dough for about 30 minutes to rise a little more. Before putting the bread in the oven, make a few cuts with a knife on the surface.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 45 minutes, or until the bread acquires a nice golden color. Take out the bread, wrap it in a cloth and let it cool down for a few minutes.
