<strong>Preparation: </strong>

  • Wash the fruits in lukewarm water and put them in 3 liters of boiling water to cook and cook. When the fruit trees swell to the size of fresh fruit, the hosaf is ready. Add sugar to taste. It is served in glasses.

The author mentions that hoshaf was tasted and sipped with some kind of empty pie, and it is known that in other regions it was eaten as compote and drunk from a small pot. Many people liked the juice itself, which was delicious, rather than the boiled fruit, which many did not even eat.
