Chrono diet: calculate the quantities for your meals. Why is it important? Because the amount of food in a meal depends on the constitution (height) of your body, as well as your profession. It is necessary to accurately calculate the amount of food that you will take in, so that you can expect the positive results that the chrono diet can provide you.

Typically, the amount of food intake for meals is calculated for an average height of 170 cm, taking as an example the average person whose job is office-type, where most of the day is spent sitting. The calculations were made according to the concept of the chrono diet of Dr. Delabos (Alain Delabos), who set the basic concepts of chrono nutrition back in 1986, thanks to a study conducted on 100.000 patients.

Here are the amounts for the three main meals and a snack:

The breakfast

Sir:
Method of calculation: your height – 100 (Example: 170 cm – 100 = 70 g)

Bread:
Method of calculation: (your height – 100)/2 (Example: (170 cm – 100) / 2 = 35 gr)

Lunch

Meat: the weight of the meat is equal to your height: Example: 170 cm = 170 gr of meat

Starch:

 180 cm 4 tablespoons
 190 cm 5 spoon

A snack

At snack time, the amount is the same for any height, and should consume the following:

Protein bar - about 30 gr.

Vegetable fat: about 30 g of dark chocolate with a minimum of 54% cocoa, or stone fruits: almonds, walnuts, etc., or olives.

Natural sugar: a "Chinese" bowl (about 25 cl) of any fruit, or half a bowl (about 12 cl) of dried fruit, or half a liter (50 cl) of freshly squeezed fruit juice, without added sugar.

Dinner:

Fish: the weight of the fish is equal to your height: Example: 170 cm = 170 gr of fish

Vegetables:
