Chrono wholemeal pita - great for breakfast for those on the Chrono diet.
For the pancakes:
- 10 tablespoons of buckwheat flour
- 5 tablespoons of rye flour
- 5 tablespoons of barley flour
- 5 tablespoons of oatmeal
- 1 spoon of ground flax
- 1 spoon of ground sunflower
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil (or rendered fat)
- 8 dl of carbonated water (7-8 dcl)
To coat the pancakes:
- 200 g of feta cheese
- Put buckwheat, rye, barley, oat flour, ground flax and sunflower, salt in a bowl, mix, add carbonated water, beat the mass well, then add oil or fat. Let it stand for 30 minutes, during which time the mass will thicken a little, so if necessary, add more carbonated water.
- On a pan with a diameter of 24 cm coated with fat, cook the pancakes on one and the other side.
Grate the cheese. Put 24 pancake in a pan with a diameter of 1 cm, spread it with cheese, again pancake, cheese and so on. Coat the last pancake with cheese, cut into cubes or strips and bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes. - Cool and serve.
