We have reached the second week of the chronic diet. In the first week of the diet, we already wrote: what is the chrono cuisine of the first week, what are the daily menus, read HERE. For the second week of the chronic diet, there are small changes in the daily menus. We will continue to use the average height of 170 cm to calculate the amount of food and ingredients. We will soon publish a table of calculations for all heights.

Chrono kitchen - breakfast

  • sir - for breakfast you can eat 70 g of cheddar, gouda cheese. You can change the types, or always eat the same type of cheese of that class. You don't like cheese, or it's not your favorite? You can replace it with the same weight of Prague ham, with the addition of one boiled egg, for example…
  • bread - 35 g, unleavened, integral bread, without sugar. If you buy bread at the grocery store, READ the declarations well! Bread must be MANDATORY without sugar, and if possible without other additions (additives). It is recommended to make your own, homemade, chrono bread, see the recipe HERE.
  • olive oil, take one spoon, and if you don't like it, take 10 g of butter (DO NOT use margarine)
  • a drink - drink tea, coffee, mineral carbonated or still water, any of these, but WITHOUT ADDED SUGAR
  • multivitamin preparation - take a multivitamin preparation as recommended by your doctor

Chrono kitchen - lunch

- meso, the second week we suggest eating red meat for lunch (beef, lamb), 190 gr. If you don't like red meat, or you are bored, replace it with the same amount of your favorite cheese or fish
- pasta, take 3 spoons of paste. If you don't like pasta, or you are bored, take the same amount of vegetables and add another 10 g to the amount of meat (cheese or fish)
- a drink - drink up to 3 glasses of water and a cup of tea or coffee (WITHOUT ADDED SUGAR)

Chrono kitchen - snack

- protein, take a protein bar or protein drink as recommended by your doctor
- vegetable fats - 2 tablespoons (or 12 cl) of nuts such as walnuts, pistachios, (almonds are best)
- fruit and sugar substitute - for the second week, cook compote from any seasonal fruit. Eat two tablespoons of cooked fruit. You can use any fruit, except banana! And again, consume it WITHOUT ADDED SUGAR!

Chrono kitchen - dinner

- fish, choose the fish you like and you can eat 110 g for dinner. You don't like fish, or are you tired of it? Subtract 110 g from the 60 g amount intended for fish and you can replace it with a reduced amount of meat (therefore, you can eat 50 g of meat).
- vegetables - for the second week, we suggest mushrooms. Your side dish is 3 tablespoons of grilled mushrooms for dinner.
- a drink - up to 3 glasses of water and a cup of coffee or tea, WITHOUT ADDED SUGAR

The second week in your chrono kitchen brings a slightly larger selection of foods and more varied meals. We cannot say that everything is allowed, in principle"you eat everything and lose weight". As always, in real life, it's not all that great, but it's not all that black either. Don't forget, you can always use one "joker" ("fake") meal during the week, including a glass of alcohol (red/red wine), just in case you have to - if your morale is shaken.

It doesn't matter, keep your head up, we're pushing towards the third week, and probably the first results of the chrono diet are also visible on the scale?

Basic rules of chronic nutrition:

  • breakfast should be rich in slow-digesting carbohydrates (cereals - bread, cereals) and animal fats (cheese, butter, etc.)
  • the time gap between meals should be at least 3, and ideally more than 4 hours (5 - 5,5 hours)
  • all types of carbonated drinks containing sugar or artificial sweeteners are not allowed (Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Cocta, Tonic, Coca Cola Zero, energy drinks, sweetened fruit juices, etc.)
  • for lunch and dinner it is not recommended to combine proteins and carbohydrates, only breakfast is allowed
  • no "snacks" of ANY kind are allowed between meals
  • fruits and dried fruits are eaten only between 16 and 18 p.m., winter time (ie, from 17 p.m. to 19 p.m. summer time)
  • pasta is not eaten in the evening (pasta, pizza, bread, sandwiches, etc.)
  • bread, pasta and starchy vegetables (potatoes) are eaten no later than 15 p.m
  • cow's milk is difficult to digest and the chronic diet excludes it completely, it is not drunk or put in coffee. Milk can be used sometimes in some cooked dishes, and sour milk and cheeses are allowed
  • margarine, plant-based cheeses (except tofu - soy cheese), plant-based cream, plant-based cream, bakery products, such as scones, croissants, etc., are so-called trans-fats and the chronic diet does not allow the use of these foods.
