Chrono buns - quick and easy buns to start the day.

  • 1 piece of egg
  • 180 ml of mineral carbonated water
  • 2,5 cups of flour (spelt, buckwheat, oat (a cup is from sour milk))
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • salt (little)
  • seeds (optional: tick, flax, sunflower)
  1. Beat the egg with sparkling water with a mixer or wire whisk until frothy. Add baking soda, salt and flour and mix everything well.
  2. Place the tray in the oven at 250 degrees for 10 minutes to warm it up.
    Take out the tray, put baking paper and scoop out the dough with a spoon.
  3. Put about 2 spoons of dough for each bun.
    You can sprinkle them with seeds on top if you wish.
    Reduce the oven temperature to 220 degrees and bake the buns for 10 minutes.
  4. Cover the baked buns with a kitchen towel to soften a little and cool down.
    I got 6 larger sandwich buns from this mixture.
Serve them for breakfast with some cheese spread and dried meat or make a sandwich as desired.
