You can eat chrono pancakes for breakfast instead of bread. Add to them what you usually consume for breakfast. If chrono nutrition has not occupied your attention, and you like to experiment in the kitchen, I advise you to try another experiment.

ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 2 dl of water
  • 1,5 cup wholemeal spelled flour
  • 2 tablespoons oat bran (level tablespoons)
  • 2 dl of carbonated water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • oil (need)

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

  1. Combine chia seeds and plain water.
  2. The mixture should stand for about 15 minutes.
  3. You will get a thick gelatinous mixture.
  4. In the mixture of chia seeds, add spelled flour, oat bran, salt and at the end gradually pour in carbonated water.
  5. Whisk all the ingredients together.
  6. The batter for chrono pancakes is slightly thicker than the batter for regular pancakes.
  7. Heat a non-stick pan and partially coat it with the oil of your choice.

  8. Pour the pancake batter with a ladle and level/spread it with a spoon or spreader.

  9. Bake the chrono pancakes like regular ones - for a few minutes on one side and the other.
