You can order wholemeal bread in several ways - you can combine various types of flour, and also soft flour. Bread that contains only wholemeal flour has a slightly different texture compared to other breads, but you can certainly make it at home.

One of the recipes and methods of preparation that I suggest is the following.

Integral bread, ingredients:

  • 150 g spelled wholemeal flour
  • 150 g of rye interal flour
  • 2 spoons of corn grits
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 2 dl of lukewarm water

For the ending:

  • 4 tablespoons of roasted sesame seeds

Integral bread, preparation:

  • Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, add water and knead the dough.
  • Wrap it well (so that it does not dry out) and leave it in a warm place for a few hours to rest (2-3 hours).
  • Mix it with sesame seeds, shape the bread, wrap it and leave it to rest for a few hours again.
  • Bake it in a heated oven at 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes (depending on the thickness of the bread and the power of the oven).

Notes:

  • You can also prepare this bread with ordinary yeast.
  • My bread rested a little longer, the first time for several hours because I was not at home, the second time overnight because I came home late.
  • So, if your bread is left for more than 2-3 hours before baking, don't worry.
  • Bread prepared in this way does not crumble and is not sticky.
  • When it cools down, you can cut it into thin slices.
