International singers from Belgrade sing to help the children from Elementary School Dr. Dragan Hercog | Recipes & Cookbook Online - What should I cook today?

Charity concert in support of the "Portable Classroom" project

Lovers of choral music and fans of this extraordinary choir International Belgrade Singers, in which numerous diplomats and employees of international organizations in Belgrade from over 16 countries sing for the third year, will be able to enjoy an evening of classical and popular choral music under the baton of Betty Ann German and piano accompaniment by Milica Sekulić.

In the first part of the concert, international singers from Belgrade will present the music of some of the most influential composers of choral music from the Tudor, late Renaissance and Baroque eras.

In the second part, the choir will sing music of the twentieth century, with an emphasis on the 50s and 60s.

"We will be singing music by vocal artists such as Nat King Cole and vocal ensembles such as Little Anthony and The Imperials and the Tokens and also something from the 80s from the group Queen. As you can see the choir wanted to include something for everyone in their program!”

All proceeds from the sold tickets will be allocated to Dr. Dragan Hercog Primary School. The innovative teachers of this school presented their project to us, and we sincerely hope that it will be interesting and attractive to you. In addition to the regular classes that these teachers organize for children at school, classes are also held for children who attend school from home due to mobility problems, and even for children who are being treated in a hospital.

We hope that with the help of the audience for the teachers and children of Dr. Dragan Hercog managed to buy at least two tablet computers, from which, among other things, educational programs for children can be downloaded from the Internet. The school has already tried the method with conventional laptop computers, but it is often the case that children in hospitals receive therapy with an intravenous catheter on the back of their hand and find it difficult to operate a computer mouse. Touch screen technology, however, has made it much easier for these children to learn and follow lessons in classrooms. The choir is extremely pleased to help with the "portable classroom" project.

As an accompanying part of the program, there will be an exhibition of works by the children of this school, and there will be a few more surprises at this concert!

Join us and come spend the evening with wonderful music and thus give your contribution to this great initiative.
