I tried the cupcake recipe from the book Treats Jamie Oliver and Gemma on page 16 VANILLA CUPCAKES, VANILLA BUTTER CREAM.
I made only small changes regarding the cream, because I made vanilla cream and added strawberry topping and whipped cream. I added candied orange and lemon zest to the portion. So I got two new cakes that taste great. Here are pictures for both recipes:
Since we don't like buttercream I changed to vanilla cream and the strawberry topping is actually my sugar free strawberry jam. By the way, since last year, I no longer make all jams with sugar, but only pure fruit, because everyone in the house has a problem with early diabetes.
