The fourth edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is being held in Serbia from November 18 to 24, organized by the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade in cooperation with the Italian Institute of Culture (IIC), the Italian Agency for Foreign Trade (ICE), the Chamber of Italian-Serbian Businessmen ( CCIS), the Association of Italian Businessmen in Serbia (Confindustria Serbia), the Honorary Consulate of Italy in Subotica with the support of Italian and Serbian companies.
The program of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World 2019 was supported by the companies Generali, Mercator and the Hilton hotel. Throughout the week, the Hilton Hotel will have a special menu in its restaurant "Two Kings" created by head chef Mirko Noketi.
The rich program of the fourth Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is being held from today in 110 countries around the world, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, and linked to the campaign "Contributo emergenza acqua". This campaign of the municipality of Venice is intended to help the city that has been severely damaged due to large inflows of water, and will be mentioned at every event, with a review of the previous days and suggestions for help.

During last year's edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine, Italy organized over 1,900 events in its 296 diplomatic missions. The theme of this year's edition is "Recommendations for proper nutrition: taste for taste", which aims to promote high quality Italian products as well as culinary skills, a very important component of Italian culture.
In order to emphasize the main topic of food education and to evaluate the entire potential of domestic cuisine, also in accordance with the Italian tradition, special importance will be given to cooking classes held by notable chefs, chefs. First, from today until Thursday, November 21, chef Eros Pico will hold lectures and workshops at the "Secondary Tourist School" in New Belgrade, and from today until Friday, November 22, the cooking school "Scuola Bianca" from Salerno will hold lectures and workshops at the "Voseka Hotelierska school" in Belgrade. Education will also be held at the Cultural Center "Piazza Italia" in Subotica, the second city in Serbia where numerous events of the Week of Italian Cuisine will be held.
Among the many planned activities, there will be seminars on Italian products and territorial traditions, demonstrations of the culinary skills of recognized Italian chefs, Italian cuisine workshops, a two-day fair organized by the Chamber of Italian-Serbian Businessmen, "PortaItalia" and "Bianco e Rosso", which will promote highly quality Italian products, and then on November 23, the "Day of Italian Wines" will be held, dedicated to exceptional Italian wines, organized by the Italian Agency for Foreign Trade (ICE).
In addition, from November 14 to 27, supermarkets in Serbia Mercator, Idea and Roda will promote Italian products in specially dedicated sections of stores.
