Wax Carp Eggs – Wax Carp Eggs require only a little skill, the rest is a matter of imagination. Each egg is a story in itself.
- 1 liter of cabbage brine
- 5 red egg bags
- sharaljaka for eggs
- 10 pieces of eggs
- clear wax (a little)
- Leave the live eggs in the raso overnight. In this way, all impurities will be removed from the eggs and they will be able to take color more easily. For this occasion, I used 10 eggs.
- The "Saraljka" must be well heated in order for the wax to pass through the needle. Very little skill is needed, everything else is a matter of fat. Each egg is a story in itself and each one deserves special attention and observation.
- When you have stained the eggs with wax as you wish, proceed to dyeing. Dissolve the dye bags with a little water and put them in the pot where the eggs will be cooked. For this method of dyeing the eggs, it is important that you do not put salt or vinegar in the water. Put the eggs in cold colored water. and cook for 10 minutes.
- Take the eggs out of the water. During cooking, the wax comes off and melts, and an uncolored egg remains in that place. Wet an old cloth with oil and coat each egg so that it is shiny.
- Try it. The end result is enchanting.
Do not add salt or vinegar while the eggs are cooking. Otherwise, the wax will not leave a clear crust.
