One dough, three different shapes - Dijana Popović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Mix of savory pastries, one dough and three different shapes.

Ingredients needed for the dough:

  • 1 kg of flour
  • 550 ml of lukewarm water
  • 150 l of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 spoon of dry yeast
  • 1 egg yolk

Necessary ingredients for unbaked pastry coating:

  • 1 egg white

Ingredients needed for salty white dressing:

  • 100ml of water
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 spoon of salt

Method of preparation:

  • Place half of the flour in a large bowl.
  • Make an indentation, then put egg yolks, oil, salt, sugar, oil in the indentation and knead the dough with lukewarm water while adding the remaining flour. Knead a fine smooth dough.
  • Put the dough in a bowl and cover with PVC foil to rise.
  • Divide the resulting dough into balls of the same size. Use the balls to make pretzels, sticks and fingers.
  • Place the pastries in a pan on baking paper, coat them with egg white and bake in the oven at 275 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • While the pastries are baking, prepare the salty dressing.
  • Mix flour and salt, then add cold water. Beat the mixture so that there are no lumps.
  • After 10 minutes, remove the pastry from the oven, pour the white dressing over the pastry. Less or more toppings? Put as much toppings as your household likes.
  • Return the pastries to the oven for 5 minutes.
  • Pleasant!
