A simple old fashioned recipe for pureed apricot jam

Apricot season is in full swing and it's the right time to make jams and jams, which are the highest quality and favorite ingredient of many cakes and desserts. This is recipe for apricot jam older than 100 years, very easy to prepare, without preservatives and additives.

Pureed apricot jam, ingredients:

  • 1 kg of apricots
  • 1 kg of sugar
  • water

Pureed apricot jam, preparation

  • Wash and mash the apricots well.
  • Add water to the sugar and boil until thick.
  • Add pureed apricots to the boiled sugar and cook, stirring constantly, for 20 minutes.
  • As soon as the jam is ready, pour it hot into jars and close.

Do not throw away the seeds, but dry them and you can use and consume them as a very strong antioxidant.
