Dish with root vegetables - Jelica Podraščanin.

Dish with root vegetables, ingredients:

  • 400 white meat,
  • oil,
  • curcuma,
  • so,
  • ½ l of cooking cream,
  • 1 parsnip root,
  • 1 parsley root,
  • 2 carrots,
  • 1 small celery root,
  • 200 g of pasta.

Dish with root vegetables, preparation:

  • Cut the white meat into cubes and add two tablespoons of oil, salt to taste and ½ teaspoon of turmeric and mix well and let it stand for 2 hours.
  • Cut parsnip, parsley, celery and carrot into sticks.
  • Put the oil in a deep frying pan to heat it up and then put the white meat and bake it until it turns brown, stirring constantly.
  • Remove the roasted white meat.
  • Add the vegetables cut into sticks to the container where the baked butter is and cook it, stirring constantly, until it becomes soft.
  • While the vegetables are baking, put the dough in salted water to cook.
  • Add the roasted white meat to the softened vegetables and then add the cooking cream and let it boil while stirring.
  • Add the cooked dough that has been drained from the water but leave a little of the water in which it was cooked and mix well.
  • Remove from the heat and wait for it to cool down a bit before serving.

Because you have to wait for the meat to rest, the preparation takes about 3 hours. It is a dish for several people.
