The seller told me that it is a combination of currant and blueberry and that it is called jošta. Of course, I didn't stop there, considering that the berries look like gooseberries. Gooseberries remind me of my mother's earrings. And he still looks like them. Turns out I was right - another combination is black currant and gooseberry.

I can't explain the taste. It doesn't have a strong flavor like blackcurrants. Gooseberries give it a milder note.

Of course, you can also eat berries fresh, but it is important that they are ripe. When they are not ripe enough, they do not have such a pleasant taste.

You can also prepare winter fruit such as juices, sweets, jams... I think it would be good to combine it with some other berries, especially if you decide to make jam. I chose juice.

  • Add more berries and fruit.
  • Then mash or partially grind them in a food processor. Pour water and boil briefly.
  • When the juice has cooled, strain it, pour it into a bottle or jug ​​and store it in the refrigerator.
  • You can store the berry juice prepared in this way in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

Stillberry juice has a pleasant, undefined taste. Most would say that there are black currants in the juice and something else. And that "something" is difficult to define.
