Kačamak with cheese - one of the favorite breakfasts in our house.

  • 200 g of polenta
  • 750 ml of water
  • so

  • feta cheese
  1. Add a spoonful of oil and salt to 750ml of water and let it boil.
  2. Gradually, when the water boils, add the polenta, stirring constantly.
  3. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, and make sure to stir quickly, otherwise it will splatter and the burns are not pleasant at all.
  4. Add feta cheese to hot kacamak and mash it. The creamy soft one is best. Mix everything well. Serve and wait for it to cool down a bit for about 5 minutes and enjoy.
Instead of feta cheese, you can mix any cheese, sour cream, kefir, sour milk, cream... You can also make kačamak sweet with sugar and milk. The taste depends only on your imagination and mood.
