Tavern cake - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Tavern cake.

Tavern cake, ingredients:

  • 20 g of yeast approximately,
  • 2 dl of water,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 3 tablespoons of oil and
  • 4 cups of flour of 2 dl.

Tavern cake, preparation:

  • Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water, then add all the other ingredients, salt, sugar, oil and knead the dough (the yeast should not be allowed to rise). Immediately combine everything together, transfer it to the work surface, shape it into a ball, then use your palms to shape it to the desired thickness. It should be a thin cake, but not too thick.
  • Transfer it to paper, in a pan, and spread it out a little more with your palms. Prick it with a fork or decorate it as desired.
  • Turn on the oven at 250 C.
  • When it is heated, put the cake in it and as soon as it browns a little, reduce the temperature to 180 and bake for 15, maximum 20 minutes.
  • Take the roast out of the pan, sprinkle it with a little water and wrap it in a cloth, and let it cool down a bit.
  • I made two scones from this mixture.

Badge means: badge, sign, symbol, feature, stamp. These badges with the inscription "Bać's kitchen" were made by a beautiful Sanja. Tall, slender, like a mountain fairy.

Well, I decided to make a Tavern cake, yesterday I made Kuglof with poppy seeds and put a badge on it. Today I want to brag about someone new, because I have five of them, they are all very beautiful to me, I don't know which one is more beautiful than whom. The pub cake is quick and easy to prepare, and most importantly, it is very tasty. The smell of baked bread, cakes, takes me back in time to some other time. What would one of our friends say, a bar, checkered tablecloths, bar ashtrays, broken glasses, music...
