How to decorate a celebration cake? The season is a celebration, so the celebration cake is mandatory and forms the most important part of the celebration table. It is very important for every hostess that the cake is beautiful, soft, beautifully decorated... Every hostess devotes a lot of time to the celebration cake and every idea is welcome. Each decoration on the cake has its own meaning.
I made the decorations I used for this cake from: 100 g of starch, 200 g of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 2 dl of water.
Knead a smooth dough from all the mentioned ingredients and while the cake rises, you make the decorations.
Roll out the crust with a rolling pin and use various rolling pins to remove the dough. I used a prayer wheel in the shape of a heart, a leaf, a cup, different circumferences of a circle, cut rectangles of different dimensions with a dough wheel and made a book, a braid. I also used a cap from a plastic bottle, then bent the small circle by hand, so that it resembled a bud.
On the slavish cake, make everything you want in the house: progress, health, barrels, grapes, a book, flowers and the most important decoration is a box with the letters: IS, HS, NI, KA - "Jesus Christ wins", which is made by pressing a wooden seal on the cake. A sprig of basil is mandatory on the cake, and all other decorations depend on the skill of the hostess.
When the dough rises, coat it with egg yolk and arrange the decorations as desired. Sprinkle with yellow, sparkly cake glitter. Enjoy your masterpiece.
