How chronic nutrition helped me - Jadranka Blažić - Recipes and Cooking online

Chronic nutrition as a diet and help in improving health status

Very often the question is asked: "Whether chrono nutrition can it give results in elderly and sick people? ” Of course it can and I proved it with my own example! The results are not only in losing weight, but also in improving health.

When I started with the chrono diet, it had already been 6 months since I was killed in a car accident. Due to a severe foot injury and a complicated operation, it was only then that I started to move around the apartment a bit, using an air boot. I have had high blood pressure and severe heart arrhythmia since childhood. My blood count was desperate, and for two months I had problems with swelling and water retention in my body. In order not to list all my health problems, and what I mentioned, it was enough for me to take action and help myself.

Chrono nutrition has been known to me since long ago, when dr Anna Giffing started working in Belgrade. I decided on a chronic diet, because the rules were easy and simple, and there is no need to prepare meals for a long time. It was only necessary to remember when to eat which foods, at what time of day and which foods should not be eaten while we are in restitution. I had great support from the Chrono Center, because I am not able to be under their supervision, as I do not live in Serbia. When something was not clear to me, I wrote to them and they would reply with advice within the same day.

My first day started on December 30th and by the date you can understand how strong my desire and will to help myself was as soon as possible. That day I started with my first chrono bread in my own version. Already after the first chrono day, I realized that my diet will not differ much from the one before that. In a few days, my sons also joined this way of eating, so everything was easier and simpler, because there was no need to prepare additional meals.

When three days passed, I felt a great relief, because I got rid of water from my body and I could breathe much easier. Every new day I felt better and better! Despite all my health problems, after a week, I knew I was on the right track.

I can't say that I didn't have any physical activities. At that time, I already had physiotherapy for my foot, so three times a week I was doing really hard exercises. The only thing was that I couldn't fit in strictly with the time of meals and the time of physical activity, because the time for exercises was determined for me - day by day. In addition to all that, I held up well.

My breakfast was never big and I never overeat. Carbohydrates (CU) in the form of bread, muffins, galettes... I tried to eat just enough to fill me up until lunch. By the way, I always have a problem with UH, because they make me swell and retain water. Bacon, cracklings, roast beef, sausages..., I ate that only sometimes, because I was never a fan of those products, and salty things bother me a lot, again because of my health condition. My breakfast was mostly in the form of some spreads, with fresh salads or some pasta. I had sour milk or young cheese for breakfast, whenever it was a dairy day.

The lunch was absolutely no different from the lunches I had before the chrono diet. I always ate some red meat, with a side of fresh salad or some vegetable, thermally processed. Somehow, I took turns preparing lunch "on a spoon", or some meat with a side dish.

Dinners were spent with fresh salads, omelets, tuna, white meat... Never much, and I never had a problem eating dinner, as most have such a problem. I was awake for at least 3 hours after dinner, and sometimes longer, because I had terrible problems with insomnia.

As for water, I only drank it when I was thirsty and for the most part, it was about 1,5 liters throughout the day. I never drank coffee, so I didn't use it in the chrono diet either. Due to my urgent obligations, several times I had almonds for lunch, because I could not organize myself outside the house. Maybe it sounds a little, when it is said: "handful of almonds instead of lunch", but it is not little and there is really no hunger after almonds and water.

The result after a month of chrono nutrition was more than obvious. I lost 6,5 kg in weight, but in centimeters it was much more and it looked like I lost at least 10 kg. By April, the scale showed a 10kg loss, but it still felt like a lot more. Until September, the scale showed the same, but the centimeters decreased week by week. My health condition has changed a lot for the better, but I was most glad that my will and strength to live returned. I was no longer tired and lethargic every day, and my sleep returned to normal. I even managed to deal with fears and depression, and panic attacks appeared less and less. I know that my results would have been even better if I had been able to have an appointment at the center with Dr. Anna Giffing, because, after all, I have many health problems.

The most important thing is that even at our age and with many of our health problems, chronic nutrition is successful and helps us a lot in solving the whole health situation.

And this is what the chronic diet looked like in one restrictive day:

  • boiled beef
  • tomato
  • p
  • black olives

LUNCH, chronic diet in restriction

  • drumsticks from the oven,
  • stewed Brussels sprouts
  • carrot salad

DINNER, chronic diet in restriction

  • tuna with cucumber spaghetti
