Chrono jam with only two ingredients

I thought, if chia seeds make such a nice pudding, without cooking or anything, why couldn't I make chrono jam? I'm glad that I listened to myself and got a wonderful sweet for pancakes, cakes and cookies, and it can be eaten like this, like a pudding, because there is no sugar at all.

This was just an experimental attempt, although by the logic of common sense, I knew that it would be perfect in both taste and shape. This chrono jam is made with just two ingredients: blackberries and chia seeds.

Blackberry fruit is used in food as a fruit, and it is an indispensable ingredient in jams, juices, wine...

And chia seeds? Chia seeds contain a large amount of healthy omega-3 fatty acids and dietary fiber. Researchers think that omega-3 fatty acids and fiber may help reduce risk factors for heart disease.

Chrono jam, ingredients:

  • 350 grams of ripe blackberries
  • 30 grams of chia seeds

Chrono jam, preparation:

  • Since the blackberries were really ripe, I could just put them, along with a drop of water, to boil for about 10-15 minutes. However, I put them in a blender to break up the seeds. Even after mixing it seemed to me that I could add chia seeds right away. Yes, I could have done it without a problem, but I wouldn't have had time today to use it all up, and it could have already started to slowly mold tomorrow, just mixed like that.
  • I put it to boil - from the time of boiling on low heat for 15 minutes. When I removed it from the stove, I let it cool below 40C and only then mixed in the chia seeds.
  • In the next 1/2 hour, I stirred it a few more times so that the slime with the seeds is better combined and the mixture is thicker.
  • I tell you most honestly that it is phenomenal. I didn't add sugar at all, because the blackberries were ripe and sweet and smelled fantastic.

Advice:

You can store any ripe fruit this way. Because if the fruit is not ripe enough, then it has neither sweetness nor fragrance. You must store the jam prepared in this way in the refrigerator.
