So, first you need to check the hardness of the tomatoes. If it is too soft, you can start peeling it right away. If it is hard, which is very common for store-bought tomatoes until August, the skin is difficult to remove, it peels off.

How to peel tomatoes - the two simplest ways are:

  1. Make a cut at the tip (opposite side where the stem mark is visible) just deep enough to cut through the skin. Cross the cut about 1-2 cm long. But so you don't have to use a tape measure, that's the length of the first two knuckles of your index finger (don't count the nail into that length, because that's a variable). Arrange the tomatoes in a fireproof bowl or pan and pour hot, but not hot, water over them. After 10 minutes, the skin will be ready to leave its host peacefully and without resistance.
  2. The beginning is the same - cut the top as in procedure 1. Then you arrange the tomatoes on a glass plate in the microwave oven. Turn on the microwave to reheat. Approximately, at a power of 600 W, about 10 minutes. And the skin comes off almost by itself.

And here, we got a nice bunch of naked heavenly vegetables, so now - let your imagination run wild. Or better yet, search here on the site Recipes and Cookbook online, what you can cook with tomatoes. Type a word in the search box TOMATO and choose a recipe to your liking.
