In the previous ten days, more precisely from May 11 to 20, an event was held in Zrenjanin "Museums of Serbia, ten days from 10 to 10” whose final night it was European Night of Museums (Saturday, May 20). The total number of visitors to the National Museum of Zrenjanin during the entire event reached 5.970, while there were 3.060 visitors during the European Night of the museum alone.
In the Salon of the National Museum of Zrenjanin at the very beginning of the event, two exhibitions were opened - "Blessed are we children that we are so small - Childhood in a traditional family" and "Museum for children", while on May 16 an evening was held dedicated to the jubilee - 130 years of bowling in Zrenjanin .
On the European Night of Museums, May 20, 2017, from 17 p.m. to 01 a.m., visitors could view exhibitions at the NMZ Blessed are we children that we are so small - Childhood in a traditional family, Museum for children, Art posters from the Museum's past (1945–1964) and an exhibition of children's illustrations Ida Ciric, as well as camera settings 130 years of bowling in Zrenjanin and a naturalistic setting Under the surface of the sea. A lecture was held "A vision in the clouds under the microscope" and three workshops: the museum playroom "I'm going outside!", the archeology-conservation workshop "Mosaic art" and the art workshop "What kind of lion? A terrible lion!". Also, three concerts were held: a joint concert of the Choir of the Gerontological Club and the Choir of the "Kolegium" musical entertainment center, a concert by students of the "Josif Marinković" Music School in Zrenjanin, and a concert by the "SuperNova and BigBeng" choir.
All programs took place in a busy and curious atmosphere, and we had a wonderful time!
The Night of the Museum was held in the National Museum of Zrenjanin, as well as in the city of Zrenjanin itself, for the eleventh time, and this time the programs took place in seven locations.
