Butter rolls - perfect...
for the dough:
- 2 dl of milk
- 2 dl yogurt
- 1 dl water (carbonated)
- 1 piece of egg
- 1 piece of egg white
- 1 spoon of sugar
- 3 teaspoons of salt
- 1 cube of yeast
- 1 kg of flour
for coating:
- 1 piece of yolk
- 300 g of cheese
- 150 g butter
- Put lukewarm milk, yogurt and water in a suitable bowl. Add crushed yeast, egg, egg white and knead a smooth dough with flour. It takes longer to knead until bubbles start to form. Divide the dough immediately into two parts. Each part into 6 balls. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough to the size of a shallow plate and coat each crust with butter. Do not coat the last crust. Repeat the procedure with the rest of the dough. .
- Arrange in a tray lined with parchment paper. Leave the rolls to rise for at least two hours. Brush them with beaten egg yolk. Bake in a heated oven at 200 C until golden brown.
