Rolls with fat - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Rolls with lard - when you get lard as a gift, it's drizzling outside, you roll up your sleeves and make these delicious rolls. You start with one, the second, the third and you think they are not that big, they just tempt you to take one more and maybe two.

Rolls with lard, ingredients:

  • 400 g of fat,
  • 600 g of flour,
  • 4 dl sour cream,
  • 1 teaspoon of dry yeast i
  • a little salt.

  • jam to taste

Rolls with lard, preparation:

  • Grind the lard in a meat grinder, I didn't do that, I got it already ground, then mix it with flour, yeast, sour cream and salt.
  • Make a smooth dough with your hands, then roll it out with a rolling pin and cut it into squares with a hot knife.
  • Put jam in the middle of each square, fold it from one side and the other and bake in a preheated oven.
  • If desired, roll the baked rolls in powdered sugar.
