Rolls with cheese - every housewife makes these rolls in her own way, this is my way.
- 1 kg of flour
- 500 ml milk
- 1 cube of yeast
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 2 pieces of yolk
- 1 cup oil
- 250 g of margarine
filling:
- 1 piece of egg white
- 1 piece of yolk
- 150 g of cheese
- Knead milk, a teaspoon of sugar, salt and yeast thicker than for pancakes.
- When it rises, add 2 egg yolks, a cup of olive oil and flour.
- Knead to make the dough softer.
- Then divide it into 8 parts.
- Make balls from each part and let them rise.
- Roll out the grown balls with a rolling pin and divide into 8 parts, fill with whipped egg white and cheese, and roll into rolls.
- Arrange in a tray covered with baking paper.
- Coat the rolls with egg yolk and put pieces of margarine on each one.
- Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes
Sometimes from the same dough, I put jam instead of cheese, they are very tasty.
