Hot dog rolls – interesting and simple pie crust rolls.

Hot dog rolls, ingredients:

  • 500 g pie crust
  • 350 g of cheese
  • 4 pieces of eggs
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup milk (or yogurt)
  • 1 package of hot dogs
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 spoons of sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of flax

Hot dog rolls, preparation:

  1. Cut the hot dogs through the middle into 2 parts and then into 4 parts to get 8 small sticks from one hot dog. Cut the peel into 4 strips about 10 cm wide.
  2. In a separate bowl, crush the cheese, add eggs, oil, salt if necessary, milk or yogurt to get a slightly thinner mass.
  3. Now spread each strip of crust with cheese filling, put a hot dog previously smeared with mustard in the middle, fold the sides as in the case of the sarma and roll up.
  4. Make rolls as long as there is filling, leave some filling for coating.
  5. Arrange the prepared rolls in an oven tray lined with baking paper.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the rest of the filling and coat the rolls.
  7. Part of the roll is sprinkled with sesame and part with flax.
  8. Put them to bake in an oven heated to 200 C and bake until golden brown.
  9. Remove the baked goods from the oven, cover with a cloth and leave to cool.
  10. Serve warm, although they are also good when cooled.
