Kitnikes.
Kitnikes, ingredients:
- 2 kg of quince
- 1,2 kg of sugar
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 400 ml of water
Kitnikes, preparation:
- Wash the quinces, clean the seeds and cut them into smaller pieces, do not peel them.
- Put in a pot, cover with water and lemon juice and cook.
- When all the water evaporates from cooking, the quinces will soften. Mix them with a stick mixer, add sugar, return to the stove and mix at a moderate temperature until the mixture thickens well.
- Pour into molds or a baking tray and leave to harden.
- Remove from the pan, cut into smaller pieces and leave to dry.
- Enjoy the taste.
