Dumplings with plum jam, old recipe.

Dumplings with plum jam, ingredients:

  • 1 kg of potatoes,
  • plum jam,
  • 250 g of flour,
  • 1 egg,
  • so,
  • 120 g of fat and
  • 120 g breadcrumbs.

Dumplings with plum jam, preparation:

  • Boil and mash potatoes, mix with flour, egg, salt and a little fat.
  • Roll out the dough about 2 cm thick.
  • Cut it into squares measuring 5 cm by 5 cm, then put a teaspoon of plum jam on each.
  • Form a dumpling and cook in salted boiling water.
  • When the boiling water throws out the dumpling, cook a little more and take it out.
  • Fry the breadcrumbs in one part of the fat and roll the dumplings.
  • Serve with sugar, ground nuts, to taste.
