Dumplings with plum jam, old recipe.
Dumplings with plum jam, ingredients:
- 1 kg of potatoes,
- plum jam,
- 250 g of flour,
- 1 egg,
- so,
- 120 g of fat and
- 120 g breadcrumbs.
Dumplings with plum jam, preparation:
- Boil and mash potatoes, mix with flour, egg, salt and a little fat.
- Roll out the dough about 2 cm thick.
- Cut it into squares measuring 5 cm by 5 cm, then put a teaspoon of plum jam on each.
- Form a dumpling and cook in salted boiling water.
- When the boiling water throws out the dumpling, cook a little more and take it out.
- Fry the breadcrumbs in one part of the fat and roll the dumplings.
- Serve with sugar, ground nuts, to taste.
