Dumplings with plums - according to grandmother's recipe.
- 1 kg of potatoes
- salt (little)
- 50 g margarine
- 2 pieces of egg
- 5 spoons of wheat semolina
- 500 g of flour (400 - 500 g)
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- oil for frying
- 30 pieces of plums (smaller)
- Peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them, boil them in salted water, drain them, mix them, mix them with margarine and cool them down. Add eggs, a little salt and semolina.
- Then gradually add flour and knead the dough (so that it does not stick to your hands, but also that it is not too hard).
- Separate the pieces of dough, separate them in the palm of your hand, put a plum in the middle, make balls, roll them in flour and put them on a tray.
- Put them in a deep dish, in boiling water and when they come to the surface, cook for another 3 minutes.
- Take them out of the water, roll them in breadcrumbs and fry them in oil.
- Serve when cooled. Sprinkle with sugar Pleasant!
- Instead of plums, you can put jam, cream, apricot, cheese...
