Popcorn - these favorite snacks are rich in antioxidants, so they are the best choice for a snack.

A team of scientists from Harvard claims that popcorn contains more antioxidants than fruits and vegetables. They point out that one portion of popcorn has about 300 milligrams of antioxidants, which is almost twice as much as the 160 milligrams that a portion of any fruit contains.

It was discovered that popcorn contains a concentrate of antioxidants because it contains only four percent of water, while in certain types of fruits and vegetables that percentage reaches 90 percent. Also, it was discovered that the crispy popcorn membrane contains the highest amount of antioxidants and fiber.
