Coconut cake - I got the recipe and condensed milk from my aunt from France, so I decided to try some new recipes. I can only tell you: I am delighted with both the taste and the appearance! Try it yourself!

Coconut cake, ingredients:

  • 3 pieces of eggs
  • 200 gr condensed milk
  • 200 ml milk
  • 4 spoons of sugar
  • 100 g of coconut
  • colorful beads (optional)
  • 40 g of butter (melted)

Coconut cake, preparation:

  1. Separate the whites from the yolks.
  2. Add sugar to the egg yolks and beat with a mixer until the mixture becomes foamy, then add condensed milk and beat a little more with a mixer to combine the ingredients.
  3. After that, add milk, melted butter and coconut and mix well.
  4. Separately, beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff, then mix them into the previously prepared mixture with a wooden spoon.
  5. Lubricate the silicone cake mold well with butter and pour out the mixture.
  6. Pour water into a pan or tray and place a silicone mold in it. The cake is steamed in this way for 45 minutes at 180 C.
  7. Leave the baked cake to cool nicely in the mold, then transfer it to a serving tray and sprinkle it with colorful beads.
  8. During steaming, the coconut floats to the surface and separates from the liquid ingredient, forming a crust and the liquid ingredient looks like a filling.
  9. Enjoy this fantastic French cake taste!
