Coconut cake - I got the recipe and condensed milk from my aunt from France, so I decided to try some new recipes. I can only tell you: I am delighted with both the taste and the appearance! Try it yourself!
Coconut cake, ingredients:
- 3 pieces of eggs
- 200 gr condensed milk
- 200 ml milk
- 4 spoons of sugar
- 100 g of coconut
- colorful beads (optional)
- 40 g of butter (melted)
Coconut cake, preparation:
- Separate the whites from the yolks.
- Add sugar to the egg yolks and beat with a mixer until the mixture becomes foamy, then add condensed milk and beat a little more with a mixer to combine the ingredients.
- After that, add milk, melted butter and coconut and mix well.
- Separately, beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff, then mix them into the previously prepared mixture with a wooden spoon.
- Lubricate the silicone cake mold well with butter and pour out the mixture.
- Pour water into a pan or tray and place a silicone mold in it. The cake is steamed in this way for 45 minutes at 180 C.
- Leave the baked cake to cool nicely in the mold, then transfer it to a serving tray and sprinkle it with colorful beads.
- During steaming, the coconut floats to the surface and separates from the liquid ingredient, forming a crust and the liquid ingredient looks like a filling.
- Enjoy this fantastic French cake taste!
