Dumpling cake with plums.

Dumpling cake with plums, ingredients:

Part I:

  • 1 kg of plums,
  • 3 spoons of sugar,
  • 1 vanilla sugar,
  • 3 tablespoons of plum jam.

Part II:

  • 200 g breadcrumbs,
  • 4 spoons of sugar,
  • a little bit of oil.

Part III:

  • 1 liter of milk,
  • 16 spoons of sugar,
  • 13 spoons of semolina,
  • 70 g of margarine,
  • 1 egg,
  • 1 vanilla sugar.

Dumpling cake with plums, preparation:

Part I:

  • Wash, clean, chop the plums and add sugar, vanilla sugar and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the jam and cook for another 5 minutes, to combine everything and remove from the heat.

Part II:

  • Fry breadcrumbs and sugar in a little oil and leave to cool.

Part III:

  • Cook semolina in milk with sugar and vanilla sugar until it thickens.
  • Add margarine, remove from heat.
  • Add the beaten egg and mix well.

In a 25 x 30 cm baking sheet, pour half of part II, align and pour half of part III, the whole of part I, half of part II. Add half of part III and half of part II at the end. Leave to cool, cut into cubes and serve.
