Revanija cake - a simple juicy cake from Bosnian cuisine.

Revani cake, ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 spoons of sugar
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 1 baking powder
  • 8 tablespoon flour

Sherbe:

  • 400 g of sugar
  • 500 ml of water
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 1 lemon, cut into thin rings

Revani cake, preparation:

  • Beat the eggs until foamy with sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • Add flour and baking powder.
  • Combine and whisk.
  • Pour the resulting mixture into a pan that has been greased with a little oil.
  • Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • While the rhubarb is baking, the dressing is cooked.
  • Put sugar and water in a saucepan and boil for 20 minutes.
  • Add lemon rings and vanilla sugar and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Pour cooled sherbet over the cooled rhubarb.
  • Pleasant.
