Cake with jam - Slađana Šćekić
- 250 ml of water (milk)
- 100 ml of oil
- 1/2 spoon of yeast or 1 dry
- 1 bag of baking powder
- a bit of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 550 g of flour
- 8 tablespoons of plum jam
- 8 spoons of apricot jam
- 8 spoons of ground walnuts
- 8 spoons of ground poppy seeds
- Knead the dough from the given material and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Then divide the dough into five parts. Roll out the first part of the dough and put it in a baking tray. 22x25cm.
- Spread the dough with plum jam. Put four spoonfuls of poppy seeds over the jam
- Then roll out the second crust, coat the crust with four tablespoons of apricot jam. Sprinkle four tablespoons of walnuts over the jam.
- Then put the third crust over the walnuts, put four spoons of plum jam over the third crust and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Unfold the fourth crust and place it over the poppy seeds, then spread it with apricot jam and sprinkle with walnuts.
- Place the fifth unfolded crust over the fourth crust. Leave the cake to "rest" for 15 min. Then prick the cake with a toothpick and bake at 180 C for about 30 minutes.
- When the cake is baked, coat it with either chocolate or Eurocream and sprinkle ground nuts on top.
