Cake with apricots.
Cake with apricots, ingredients:
- 1 liter of milk
- 8 spoon of sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 200 g of wheat semolina
- 50 g of butter/margarine
- 1 egg
For the filling:
- 700 g apricots (peeled)
- 4 spoons of sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 4 tablespoons of apricot jam
And more:
- 200 g breadcrumbs
- 3 spoons of sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
Cake with apricots, preparation:
- Pour the breadcrumbs, sugar and vanilla sugar into the pan and mix at a moderate temperature until golden brown. Leave to cool.
- Wash, clean, measure and cut the apricots. Add sugar and vanilla sugar to them. At a moderate temperature, boil briefly with constant stirring, so that the apricots soften a little.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the apricot jam.
- Add sugar, vanilla sugar and semolina to the milk. Boil the porridge at a moderate temperature, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add butter/margarine and beaten egg and stir to combine.
- First put the breadcrumbs, half of the prepared amount, in a tray (25x35 cm). Then half of the semolina porridge. Well, the apricot filling. Then spread the other half of the semolina porridge over the other half of the fried breadcrumbs.
- Cool well, first at room temperature and then in the refrigerator.
- Enjoy the taste!
