Hazelnut Cake - Vesna Pavlović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Hazelnut cake.

Hazelnut cake, ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 2 eggs,
  • 350 g of sugar,
  • 280 g of flour,
  • 1 bag of baking powder,
  • 200 ml of oil,
  • 200 ml of milk,
  • 100 g of hazelnuts.

For the filling:

  • 1 egg,
  • 150 g of sugar,
  • 125 g of margarine,
  • 100 g of cooking chocolate.

For sprinkling:

  • if necessary, hazelnuts (70 g).

Hazelnut cake, preparation:

For the crust:

  • Beat eggs with sugar with a mixer.
  • Alternately add oil and milk and mix gently with a mixer.
  • Stir in the flour mixed with baking powder and mix gently with a mixer.
  • Add toasted, ground hazelnuts and beat with a mixer at the lowest speed.
  • Pour the mixture into a medium-sized pan lined with parchment paper and bake in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the finished crust from the oven and let it cool (just as much as is needed to prepare the filling).

For the filling:

  • Beat the egg and sugar with a fork.
  • Separately, put the margarine in a pan, put the pan on the fire and stir until the margarine melts, then add the beaten eggs and sugar and cook.
  • Stir in the cooking chocolate, stir until the chocolate melts and the filling reaches the required thickness.
  • Spread the filling over the crust.
  • Sprinkle with coarsely chopped toasted hazelnuts and leave to cool.
  • Cut the cake into pieces of the desired size, serve and serve.
