Carob cake.
Carob cake, ingredients:
It is needed for the dough:
- 1 cup for white coffee oil,
- 1 cup for white coffee sugar,
- 1 baking powder,
- 2 eggs,
- 2 cups of white coffee flour i
- 1 cup of ground carob for white coffee
- apricot jam.
For the frosting:
- 100 g of cooking chocolate,
- 50 g of margarine and
- 2 tablespoons of water.
Carob cake, preparation:
- Take two bowls and eggs and separate the white from the yolk.
- Take the bowl containing the egg yolks and beat them with a mixer, then add ½ cup of water for white coffee and ½ cup of milk for white coffee.
- Take another bowl and beat the egg whites and add sugar and beat again.
- Combine beaten egg yolks and egg whites and add oil, add flour mixed with baking powder and carob and mix everything.
- Pour the resulting mass into a pan greased with oil or fat and sprinkled with flour.
- Bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees until the dough starts to separate from the pan, that is, about 35-40 minutes.
- Spread the hot cake with apricot jam.
- Make the glaze by melting the chocolate, margarine and water and pouring it over the cake.
