Cake with plums.
Cake with plums, ingredients:
- 250 g breadcrumbs
- 1 liter of milk
- 15 spoon of sugar
- 15 spoons of semolina
- 70 g of margarine/butter
- 1 egg

- 1 kilogram of plums - fresh/frozen
- 3 spoons of sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 2 tablespoons of plum jam
- cinnamon to taste
Cake with plums, preparation:
- Fry the breadcrumbs and 4 tablespoons of sugar in the oil.
- Mix semolina and sugar in 200 ml of cold milk.
- Heat 800 ml of milk until boiling and add semolina to it. Cook until thickened, stirring all the time.
- Add margarine/butter.
- Remove from the stove, then add 1 beaten egg. Beat with a mixer. It will be a nice creamy mass.
- Chop the plums. Add 3 spoons of sugar, vanilla sugar. Sauté until the plums soften. Add plum jam.
- Use a brush to oil the bottom of a 20x30cm baking tray.
- Put half of the breadcrumbs.
- Put half of the semolina mixture over the breadcrumbs.
- Place the plum filling over the semolina.
- Again the semolina mixture, then add the other half of the breadcrumbs over it.
- Cool, cut into cubes and enjoy. The taste is somewhat similar to dumplings, and the preparation is much faster.
