Cake with figs.

Cake with figs, ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 glass of sour milk
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 600 g of figs
  • powdered sugar

Cake with figs, preparation:

  • Wash, clean and cut the figs in half. Arrange the cut figs (cut side down) in a tray (25x35cm) lined with baking paper.
  • Beat egg whites with sugar and vanilla sugar, add egg yolks, then sour milk, oil, flour and baking powder. Mix it up. Pour into the pan over the figs. Bake for about half an hour in an oven heated to 180C.
  • Turn the cooled cake onto the tray so that the figs are on top.
  • Cool, cut, sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy the taste.
