Cake with dried fruit.

Cake with dried fruit, ingredients:

  • 20 g of fresh yeast,
  • 120 ml of lukewarm milk,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • 1 teaspoon of flour,
  • 350-400 g of soft white flour,
  • 60 g of sugar,
  • a pinch of salt,
  • 60 g butter, room temperature i
  • 1 egg.

Filling:

  • 2 egg yolks,
  • 2 spoons of sugar,
  • 100 g of raisins,
  • 100 g of prunes and
  • 100 g of dried cranberries.

Cake with dried fruit, preparation:

  • Put the crushed yeast with a teaspoon of sugar and flour in 120 ml of lukewarm milk and let it rise for about 10 minutes.
  • Add yeast, sugar, salt, butter, egg to half the amount of flour and knead the dough.
  • Gradually add the rest of the flour and knead until you get a soft dough that sticks a little to your hands.
  • Leave the dough to rest for about 40 minutes.
  • Knead the dough and add more flour if needed.
  • Spread as thin as possible, coat with egg yolks and sugar.
  • Sprinkle raisins, plums and cranberries all over. Roll the dough into a roll. Brush with egg yolk.
  • Bake at 180 degrees for about 40-50 minutes.
