Cherry compote.

  • cherries
  • sugar
  • water
  1. Wash the cherries, remove the stalks and arrange them in jars. Put a few tablespoons of sugar in each jar (I put 3). Fill the jars with water and close them tightly. Shake carefully, turn them upside down several times, to dissolve the sugar.

  2. Place a cloth on the bottom of the jar, line up the jars, separate them with cloths so they don't hit each other. Fill the bucket with water, so that the jars are in water up to the lids. Put it on the stove to cook. When it starts to boil, cook at a moderate temperature for another 10 minutes, then remove the sauce from the stove. Leave it to cool completely.
