Vanilla.
Vanilla, ingredients:
- 250 g margarine
- 60 g of powdered sugar
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 kg of flour
- homemade plum jam with chocolate (or to taste)
- powdered sugar for rolling the vanilla
Vanilla, preparation:
- Beat 250 g of margarine with 60 g of powdered sugar and gradually add the juice of 1 lemon.
- Add 1/2 kg of flour and mix it all well. Roll out the crust about 1 cm thick with a rolling pin, remove the edges and arrange in a baking tray.
- Bake the vanilla beans until they turn white, at a temperature of about 180-200 C, about 10-15 minutes, depending on the oven.
- When they cool down, join them with jam and roll in powdered sugar.
Note:
- I used homemade chocolate plum jam, and you can use any jam you like.
- Vanilla beans are best when they sit for a while, so it is best to prepare them in the evening for the next day.
