Vanilla with poppy seeds, ingredients:
- 200 g of fat,
- 500 g of flour,
- 1 egg yolk,
- 200 g of poppy seeds,
- 1 whole egg,
- 4 spoons of sugar,
- juice of 1 lemon and
- apricot jam.
Vanilla beans with poppy seeds, preparation:
- Beat the fat until foamy, then add the egg yolks, one whole egg, sugar, poppy seeds and the juice of one lemon.
- Then add flour, put everything on the mixing board, knead the dough and roll out the crust about half a centimeter thick with a rolling pin.
- Use a mold for vanilla ice cream or a brandy glass to take out scones, then arrange them in a baking tray, put them in the oven and bake them.
- Spread the baked vanilla beans with jam, put two and two together, sprinkle them with powdered sugar and serve.
