A cone of scones - just like from a bakery!

  • 0,5 cubes of fresh yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1,5 cups of milk
  • 3 pieces of egg
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 250 g margarine
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 500 g flour
  • sesame seeds (for sprinkling)
  1. Mix the yeast with sugar and a little flour in a little milk and let it rise.
  2. Beat 2 eggs and egg whites, then add half of the flour, oil, salt, yogurt, 125 g of softened margarine and added yeast, then gradually adding the remaining flour, knead a smooth dough. Leave it to rise.
  3. Divide the dough into 5 equal noodles and one smaller one, then roll out each one. One by one, coat the developed dough with melted margarine and sprinkle with flour, then stack them one on top of the other. Then roll out a round crust and cut into 8 triangles. Use the triangles to make buns, then cut each one in half and arrange the wider part in a round, greased round pan. From the smaller part of the dough (left on the side), take out seven circles with a cup and form a flower from them in the middle of the cake.
  4. When the scone rises, cover it with the remaining egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
