Kuglof, old, traditional recipes - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Kuglof in a thousand and one ways, it all depends on your current inspiration. This time I deliberately did not add baking powder, I added a glass of brandy...

Kuglof is the ideal cake for me, it doesn't take much time, it's easy to prepare, you can combine it with red wine, milk...

But, the best combination is when you share it with loved ones, it's not good to eat it all by yourself, offer it to your enemy, when he tries it maybe he will become your friend, your best friend.

Kuglof, ingredients:

  • 4 haha,
  • 1 small glass of brandy, pelinkova can also be used,
  • 5 spoons of sugar,
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar,
  • 2 dl of oil,
  • 7 spoons of flour and
  • 150 g of raisins.

Kugloff, preparation:

  • Beat eggs and sugar, add vanillin sugar, oil, brandy, raisins and finally flour. Combine everything well.
  • Grease and lightly flour the kugloff mold. Deliver the mixture.
  • Turn on the oven at 180°C (do this when you start pouring the mixture into the mold, by the time you finish pouring, the oven will heat up) and bake the kuglof. Test with a wooden stick whether the kuglof is baked, if the dough does not stick to the stick, it is baked.
  • Leave in the mold to cool. Serve the kuglof, sprinkle it with powdered sugar if you like.
