Cabbage with lamb, ingredients:

  • 0,5 kg lamb meat (thigh)
  • 0,5 kg lamb meat (neck)

  • 1 head of cabbage (sweet, larger head)

  • 1 spoons of flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika (sweet)
  • 0,5 spoons of crushed pepper (seasoning, hot)
  • 0,5 bunch parsley (leaf)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 100 ml tomato juice (juice)
  • 1 piece bell pepper (green, sweet)

Cabbage with lamb, preparation:

  1. Buy leg and neck lamb meat, boneless (or remove the bones). Cut into smaller pieces, salt and pepper. Put in a cooking pot and pour water to cover. Add some peppercorns. Let it cook on medium heat for about 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add finely chopped red onion. When the onion becomes glassy, ​​add flour, allspice, paprika, finely chopped garlic and a parsley leaf. Fry a little. Leave aside.
  3. Pour a little oil into a baking dish (recommended ceramic/earthen, with a lid). Pour with the contents of the pan. Cut the cabbage into larger pieces and place in a baking dish. Place the lamb meat over the cabbage and cover with the cooking water. Add tomato juice and one green sweet pepper. Mix everything well. If necessary, pour a little more water. Cover and put in the oven at 150 C to bake for about 45 minutes. Serve warm.
